National Geographic
Explorers Festival
I was in tasked with repositioning the National Geographic's Explorers Festival from an internal awards ceremony to a global event hosted at the National Geographic Society headquarters in Washington, DC that invites scientists, educators and changemakers from around the world to celebrate the spirit of exploration and connection, and to reinforce National Geographic as the home for explorers.
Each year, I led the teams that developed the concept for the event as well as all the deliverables including the event graphics, videos, decor, trophies, and environmental designs. Our team also handed all the marketing materials including invites, public promotion, and paid and organic social assets.
