Black Ankle Vineyards, in Frederick, Maryland, needed some wine labels for their fledgling vineyard. They had a logo and some ideas but wanted to build out a design system for their family of wines. I created a robust type and color system, the illustration of the muddy boots, the BAV moniker, and the labels and neck labels for their entire line of wines.
